Northumberland County grain, oyster and timber producer Robert E. Hall of Heathsville was re-elected to a fifth term on the Virginia Farm Bureau Federation board of directors in November 2007.

Hall chairs the VFBF Grain Marketing Advisory Committee and Soybean & Feed Grains Advisory Committee.

Hall operates a 2,000-acre cash grain, oyster and family partnership timber operation. He is past president of the Northumberland-Lancaster County Farm Bureau.

In addition to his involvement in Farm Bureau, Hall serves as treasurer of the FFA Young Farmers of Northumberland and is a member of the Northern Neck Region Antique Automobile Club of America.
