Routely Setup

You will need to set up the Routely app once your agent has enrolled you in the Drive2SaveSM program.

Step 1: Downloading the Routely app

You will receive a text message from Routely. The text will have the Activation Code along with the links to download the app for both Android and iPhone users.

Step 2: Activating the app

Once the app is downloaded to your phone, open the app to enter activation code from the text message.

Step 3: Review and accept terms

Once the activation code is entered, read and accept terms in the Routely app.

Step 4: Give app required permissions

You will need to update permissions so Routely can monitor your trips.

  • Motion & Fitness - Always allow access, so Routely can automatically detect when your trips begin and end.
  • Location - Always allow access, so Routely can access trip data such as vehicle location and local speed limits.
  • Notifications - Routely will offer helpful driving tips and updates, and allow you to keep track of your driving score.

Step 5: Update Routely app icon

Once the setup is complete, the Routely icon will be replaced with a Virginia Farm Bureau icon.

Step 6: Hit the road

You must take your first trip within 30 days of receiving your access code to remain eligible for the Drive2SaveSM program discount. Make sure your first trip lasts for at least 3 minutes to ensure it’s tracked properly.
