If you’re legally liable in a boating accident, boat liability coverage can help pay for injuries and property damage to others.
Don’t let the cost of damage keep you off the water. This option covers vessels, motors, and trailers which are acquired during the policy period to replace previously covered items.
This coverage helps protect newly acquired vessels, motors, and trailers which are obtained during the policy period.
This can offset your health insurance deductible and pay out for your passengers’ injuries if necessary. It’s also an added buffer if you’re liable in an accident that causes serious injuries.
This pays for the cost to raise, remove, or destroy the wreckage of a covered vessel if it’s stranded, destroyed by fire, or sunk.
Emergency service includes on-the-water towing, fuel drops, soft ungroundings, dock-to-dock towing, and jump starts if your boat breaks down on the water. Trailer tire changes are covered as well.
This protection covers your personal property while it’s aboard your boat or water craft. It’s added peace of mind in case something important is lost overboard.
If someone in an uninsured or underinsured boat or watercraft causes damage to you and your boat, this coverage kicks in. Although it’s not required, it still protects you from the risky behavior of other boaters.
Talking with your local agent is the best way to find out what other riders or specific coverage are recommended for your situation. Additional options include Coverage for First Aid and Use of Another Vessel.
