To access this option, you will need to have set up online account access and added your auto policy to your profile.
Start your online glass claim
1. Log in to your vafb.com account
Log in to your vafb.com account. If you don't have an account, you can register now.
2. File the auto glass claim
Once logged in, locate the auto policy and select Policy Actions > File a Claim.
A new screen will be displayed prompting you to select the type of claim. Select "Auto Glass Only Claim" when there is only glass damage to report.
If you select Report A Claim you will be directed as normal through the reporting of your claim. This is the same as if you choose File a Claim from the Policy Actions menu.
When you select Report A Glass Only Claim and select Continue, you will then be directed to the VFB Glass Claims Center. You will need to confirm the policy that the vehicle is under and enter your contact information.
3. Enter your policy information
You will the need to Complete all the required fields and select Continue.
4. Select an existing glass claim or start a new one
On the next screen, you may have two options:
- Select a vehicle you have recently reported a claim on to complete the claim (if applicable).
- Or you may only have the option to Start a new claim and click get started
5. Select the vehicle that needs repaired
6. Provide your contact information
Next, you will need to verify and complete your contact information. It is important this information is accurate for our claims department or the glass repair company to contact you, select Continue.
7. Provide details of the glass damage
On the next screen, you will need to select the type of glass repair or replacement that is needed.
Depending on the type of repair or replacement and options for your vehicle, you may receive additional details to choose from, then select continue.
8. Confirm your coverage details
In most cases, coverage will be verified and your deductible (if applicable) will appear for the repair. You will then need to select continue to proceed with the claim.
9. Choose your glass repair provider
Your next option will be to choose the glass service provider for your repair/replacement.
- Appointment with Safelite AutoGlass - You will go through the screens to schedule a date and time for your repair. There may be additional features you can also select such as replacement windshield wipers.
- I have another auto glass provider in mind - You will be taken to the screen to once again confirm your contact information and you will receive a phone call from our Glass Claims Service Center-Administered by Safelite Solutions and they will coordinate your service.
10. Review and confirm appointment details
After scheduling your appointment, you will need to confirm the vehicle location, directions and you can sign up for text notifications. Complete the required fields and select Continue.
On the last screen, you will need to confirm the information is correct before selecting Submit.
